( I hope all is well sirs and that the cars are out and about.
I would like to invite you and your members out to The Alibi Pub & Eatery for Sunday Cruise Gathering from 4-9pm every Sunday.
We are doing a $10 burger and fries and a $5 10 ounce Big Surf Lager special for car owners, have a photographer taking pictures, and might have some pin-up girls attend.
I think members will like that we have a large parking area and a lot of others might pull in to see the cars given that we are along Stony Plain Road and a lot of cars go by all the time.
We have live Music Open Mic from 6-9 pm with Mike Dominey, a excellent local artist and members can get up and sign or play along with him.
Let's encourage everyone to take a night off from making dinner, have a great burger and perhaps a pint together and talk and show our cars.
Another event that all club members should look at is the upcoming Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Village Vintage Day going on June 25th. Click on the poster below for more info. -KK-

The car club’s first attempt in presenting a much needed Edmonton & Area swap meet was held on April 15th at Millennium Place in Sherwood Park, AB. from 8 a.m till 4 p.m.. Vendors from as far south as Drumheller & various locals outside the Edmonton area were present.. The venue was 98% full with a large variety of vendors & the last count at 2:30 p.m was that 790 shoppers had come through the gate.. We even had a Silent auction to assist in raising more dollars for the pot. All the monies raised after the bills are taken care of will be placed in a pot and added to our Annual Show n Shine monies, then the total will be given out to various Edmonton & Area Kid’s groups. The Annual” Bowties vs the World” Show n Shine is slated for August 26th @ the Canadian Tire Store on Fort Road/ 132 Ave.. Here are a few pics from the event and a special thank-you goes to Kathleen for posing next to the club’s trailer ! WOW !! We learned a lot from this being our first attempt and all ideas/concerns will be addressed for next year’s swap meet.. Many thanks to Sharon @ Millennium Place for assisting the Club as well. See you all next year !!! -Jim K.
