THE EDMONTON & AREA 567 CLUB MARCH MEETING MINUTES
MARCH - 6/2024 7P.M 13 MEMBERS
The snow is melting and everyone wants to get their "rides" out !!! However, watch out for the sand that is still on the road in lots of areas.
We reviewed the minutes from the February meeting and the minutes were accepted by all members present.
The treasurer's report was given and the Bank Account is v.g standing. No debits for this month...all members
present accepted the report..
Club attendance, has as always lost some members and have new ones come onboard, we have 48 members as of his is point.. The month of May as always, gets a few more to sign on with us at Red Deer.
The Club Membership is still only $25.00 per year.. This covers insurance while attending a club event plus various office duties..
Brian C. gave a report on the WCM, to be held at Warman Sask. this summer.. More info to come.. If you go onto the Saskatoon's 567 club website, that may provide more updated info on the event.. This maybe the last one held, as it has been noted...
More discussion on this summer's club activities/cruises & the joint participation with the Christ City Lighthouse Show n Shine. Our class sponsors are conformed.. the reps from the church to be at our April meeting to discuss the event with everyone and to meet with our club.. Show n Shine is slated for August 24/2024..
We will supply support staff in some areas for this event.. All reg. and $$$ go to the Church Charities..
As was stated last month a New order of club t-shirts has arrived, the fee for quality material and artwork has gone up ( like everything else). If you would like to purchase one, give Jim a call.. The price is $30.00 ea.
This price reflects the cost of production for Quality materials.. Basic black in color with full 14 inch pinstriped logo on the back & a 4 inch logo on upper left side of the front..
We need door prizes for the event plus for our meetings as well, I am running low in that area.. If you can help please contact Jim...
We will be at the Red Deer Swap Meet along with the good folks from Christ City Lighthouse.. Drop by and say Hi !!
We have been approached to appear at some "Retirement Homes" to showcase our "rides" & as always the members will be informed once the places and dates are confirmed..
Jim has his crest emblems (Thanks Mark) .. There is no further items needed or For Sale to date by any member..
Noted that Don C. has his '56 in the shop to have his interior completed.. Hope to see the "ride" soon..
Rumor has it that Mark's '55 Gasser is for sale, however.. Just a rumor...
