The Edmonton & Area 567 Club’s May General meeting Minutes

 Held at the New West hotel on May 2nd/2018 7 p.m 13 members present



Minutes from April meeting were read by our interm Prez Jim K.

Treasurer’s report was the given & the account is very strong and in good standing.]

As of this print our Swap Meet is a little over ¼ full, so far a few vendor returnees have expressed interest & some new vendors have been entered..

The date of June 8 is the set-up date and club volunteers are needed to help with the set-up.. Vendors have from 1 p.m to 9 p.m to move in.. Some spots have been put aside for late comers.. A temp. floor has been installed due to renovations ongoing.. 10 X 10 spots are only $40.00 with NO Gst !!!

Door prizes for the Show n Shine are much needed, if you can get some, that would be appreciated.. Our show is slated for August 25th @ NAPA store, 111 av/173 st..

Stony Plain had their Swap Meet last week-end & the club was there.. The interest on our club activities was very good. Some people showed interest in memberships.

'A small discussion on our photo shoot at the Burger Baron occurred.. The model is in place & we have a quality photographer lined up.. The venue is in favour on having this taken place.. Stay Tuned.. The date & time to be discussed..

Copperwood retirement home in Spruce Grove will approach our club this summer to come out & display our vehicles and put a smile on a “ol Timer”.. Date & Time to be discussed. This was to occur last year but bad weather prohibited it from happening

The Car Club’s Trailer is Paid off ! It will be used as it has been in the past, to promote the club and it’s sponsors/supporters at various Car shows and Swap meets..

Our new Website “guru” is Rebecca Marko, who has taken over from Kellen K. Thank-you Kellen for all the things that you have done for the club on the website.. A new format and others things are planned for our website..
