The Edmonton & Area 567 club monthly meeting Minutes
This meeting had very few members present due to the severe weather that was with us for awhile..
KUDOS for those who braved the weather and came out, Thank-you...
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE !!!!!!
This meeting was conducted by Roy M. ( V.P ) as Jim was away in B.C for his Granddaughter’s B-Day..
It was a brief “ Mixer ” type meeting with only a few members present..
Those present talked about car parts, future projects and of course the weather.. The beer was cold also..
The club account is in good standing, with two disbursements from the account occurring in December...
The cost for the “Bernie McIvor Memorial” award and the special gift presented to all members..
( if you have not received yours, come to a meeting)
A big Thank-you to Karen McIvor and her family for coming out to the Christmas function and presenting the award..
Our first recipient of this popular award is Armand Lindgren, Our Congrats goes out to him as well..
This award will be presented each year to a fellow member who displays thru out the year the support, volunteerism and other apptributes that Bernie had displayed as a club member, the award is voted by the membership.
Well, 2022 brings a feeling of getting things back to normal ( the new normal ) and we are hoping to present the 20th Annual “Bowties vs the World” Charity Show N Shine at the end of August... we will start with a members discussion at our February meeting to get plans put back in place.. Please come out to share some ideas...
The 2022 clubs dues are being accepted ( only $25.00 ).. A email should be sent out to all members, based on what we have for member’s contacts to remind everyone that it is due...
Like I noted before, it was a brief meeting and lots of topics will be discussed at the next meeting, Please come out !!
Next meeting February 2nd @ 7 p.m Upstairs 14305-121A-Ave National RV building....
