Edmonton 567 Club Month of June 3, 2020 - Commencing at 7:10 At National RV Siding (144482 – 124 Ave) 

New Members

Last month minutes 

May meeting read by Jim and passed by Members in attendance. 

Old Business 

Please pay up your 567 Membership the 2020 season is due now. If you have not yet had a chance to pay, please contact Norm and make arrangements. 

Calendars Remaining will be mailed out to other 567 Clubs in Western Canada. 

Show and Shine - Cancelled 

Tri-Five and Muscle. Will be a Danchuk dealer, Gold Leaf and supply after market wheels. As soon as parts are coming over the boarder Norm will let club members know so they can order. 

Jim and Don are signing authorities on account. Looking to add both Norm and Roy. 

Our current supplier is no longer doing t-shirts. We are looking for another supplier. There is a need to order t-shirts, we have no 2XL in stock. Order 24 2XL. Voted in favor, unanimous. Gene to follow up and order. 

Fathers Day Sunday June 21 Meet at Norms home 1pm for first club cruise. Route to be decided and decided on location. Second cruise to take place at Dons in Millet. 

Our Club has been contacted by the Surry BC Producer of Rust Valley. She is looking for big personality and car clubs for new program. Contact Jim if interested. 

We want to have a couple “rolling, tour around town” cruise nights. Possibly once or twice a month, for example the Hendy loop. 

Tri-5 and Muscle will have a swap as soon as the world returns to new normal when Covid restrictions are lifted. Tentative date of August 23. Contact Norm if interested. 

ESRA June event is now rescheduled for August 22. For $400 sponsor package we can get club logo added to advert. This would be good public relations and network opportunity. We can recoup cost by doing raffle for this package to club members. Package contains 2 banquet tickets, entry for car and driver to event. Gene please look into the event do they still want our $400? Have our club as a sponsor for ESRA Weekend August 22 spend $400 to obtain club advertising during the event and then recouped this cost by doing raffle to membership for the package (two banquet tickets). Voted on and was unanimous supported by those in attendance. 

New Business 

We have observed some negative comments posted on 567 Club social media from current and former members. This has caused some grief. If you have issues with Club business or how our Club operates please contact an executive member or bring those issues to a monthly meeting to discuss. We are happy to discuss new ideas as well as how to make the Club better. We want members input please bring it to the meetings before creating drama on social media. Thank you
