Treasurer’s report was given & the Club
account is looking good & all bills paid!
The Prez. thanked
those who came out to the Edmonton Motors Function on September 12.
Photo’s for the
2016 Club calendar to be taken at McNally H.S and all submissions from members
to be turned in by Oct.17th. Layout and print to be done soon.
Roy delivered
the donation cheque to Val F. and the Kids with Cancer Society, She was very
Grateful on our donation & expressed her Many thanks to the club.
A two page
coverage of our August event was in the September issue of Quick-Times.. Great short
story & Photos.
The annual
“Society” submission to the Province to be completed and sent in.
Our website info
will be delayed a little due to the “Website Guru” going back to school. Former members' vehicle Photos still to be removed & new members to be
posted plus other info added.
Most viewed
pages on the club website were the 2015 B vs W event and the photo gallery of
our club ambassador “Janice"
The annual
Christmas Party was discussed… Don.C to take care of it again, He REQUIRES advanced
list of those coming and a Nov.11 Deadline has been for those members that are
coming to the dinner.. WE need a FIRM commitment from the membership..The
caterer needs a “Head Count”.. To be at Blackjack’s upstairs venue on Dec. 2nd
@ 6:30 p.m.
The cost is
$32.41 per plate (gratuity included) A Great Meal plus Many prizes as
well.. SUPPORT your Car Club!!
The dinner Menu has all the great dishes plus
Glazed Maple Chicken Breast, Baked ham & Perogies (of Course).. And various
deserts !!!
An invite has
been extended to Janice, our club’s ambassador, to attend & a special gift
to be given to her as a thank you for her efforts.
Oct. 4th
Swap meet @ Red Deer, the club has 1 table (to promote the club & sell anniversary
event t-shirts) plus Jim K. & Roy M. bought tables..
