Hey everybody – due to weather related concerns – the Car
Show portion of tonights event at the Touchmark Seniors home has been
postponed. The sock hop portion is, as
far as we know, is resuming as planned – but a makeup date for the Car Show
will be discussed at next month’s meeting.
UPDATE (Saturday) - Due to last nights storm – I’ve been informed that the club
will not be appearing at today’s event at the Alberta Railway Museum due to
potential risk of damage to the vehicles on the mudroad. Plans for a
makeup event, perhaps a cruise, will be discussed soon.
Officially - the Railway Museum event is still going on, but for safety reasons; club participation is at your own risk. It's a great event for a great cause but it's hosted on unpaved ground which means heavy risk of damage from mud and gravel. If you do attend - be safe out there and take pictures.
