Club Treasurer reports that our balance is good and all bills have been paid up.. All members have passed this info and accepted the report..
Don.C to set-up a tour of the ‘Kids with Cancer” home & office, all members present have expressed their interest in this tour.. More to come.. Maybe have some children from the Society pose in some of the member’s rides & take photos of them in these vehicles.. There is a parking lot next to the office that is a paid parking lot.. One idea was to have the Club cover the parking cost for those who attend the tour..
A presentation with the Amsoil guy is being set-up by Roy. This may occur at our February meeting..
December 3rd is our Annual Christmas function @ Blackjack’s Roadhouse.. Great food and a good time for club fellowship!
A new member was at our meeting, Mr.Dave Gill, who owns a 1955 wagon.. Welcome Dave!!!!
Asking for members to step forward for the 2015 executive elections, this should be taken care as soon as this January.. make your nominations soon..
Remember the New membership yearly fee is now $25.00 per year..
Please support your car club and sign up!! New membership forms are now available on line on our Website or from Don.C.. Should be some at the January meeting..
We still have to collect from a couple of members, for the October Swap meet table spots.
Bowties vs the World 2015 is our 15th Annual Show n Shine.. Lots of planning to be done by all involved.. Roy M. to check into having the event t-shirt done at his school’s graphic dept. & the cost.. New “event Flyers” to be produced as well… For all members who have been involved in the past or will be active at this year’s event, they will receive a “Anniversary” t-shirt .. Maybe with “staff” printed on them or I.D them as a “proud member” of this club.. The Event date is August 29th at Northgate Centre..
To all members “present your Ideas” to make this anniversary of our Show n Shine a good one..
Don. C brought out his picture that was done by Lane Jensen and will be featured in the Drayton valley car Club’s calendar.
Cash was won by Gene B., Dougie J won a Matco tools coffee mug & Damion W. won a “Crusin’ The Dub” license plate..
A quick Swap n Shop portion of our evening was featured as we ended the meeting..
